Is Loki dead?

In Avengers Infinity war Loki sadly died by the hands of Thanos the mad titan. Loki was trying to kill Thanos with one of his knife's. As he was going to strike Thanos, Thanos caught him using the space stone to catch his hand. Then Thanos picked him up by his neck and chocked him killing him by not letting him breath. Thanos also broke his neck, made blood vessels pop in his eyes and make his nose bleed. Thanos did say something interesting though, he said "no resurrections this time". With Thanos saying that means he brought Loki back to life after the events of Thor but before the Avengers. He did that so he can concur earth for Thanos.

There's a theory that Loki didn't die he is actually Bruce Banner in disguise. How is this possible you ask well when Thanos was attacking the Asgard ship half of the ship left. Thanos didn't kill all the agardenias he only killed half and the other half got away.  The theory states hulk left with the other half and Loki transformed into the hulk and Bruce banner. This is a good reason why he can't transform into the hulk in the movie.

There is also another theory that what we saw die was a projector image of Loki. He has done this a lot in the MCU so it wouldn't take us by surprise this time. In the back round when Thanos is choking him you can see a image of a human figure leaving but it could just be space trash flying around. People have believed this is Loki watching his own death.

I think this might be true because he always uses his right hand attack and in this scene he tries to kill him with his left hand. Also his last words to Thor was "I assure you brother the sun will shine on us again". why choose those last words? This must mean something has to come in the future for both or at least one of them. In the end we don't know if he really died or not, we could possibly find out in Avengers 4
